Aunt Bert, Lula, and Fannie
In June 1968, Bertha (Bert) Charlotte Crosby (1893–1978), Lula Crosby Keyes (1939–), and Fannie Crosby McCleskey (1890–1988) published Ancestors and Descendants of Floyd W. and Charlotte P. Crosby. Bert and Fannie were sisters, both born in Dickson, Tennessee.
Lois Louise Crosby (1908–2004), first daughter of George Francis Crosby, wrote History of George Francis Crosby.
Larry and Carol
Larry Allen Crosby (1943–), 9th great-grandson of Simon Crosby, kept this story with Carol Kay Crosby (1942–). His own page has how he found the 1968 book, the 1999 trip, and the website. The other keepers stay here.
Caspers researchers
Anna Marie Logan, granddaughter of Casper Johnson Caspers, began tracing her mother’s line when her oldest son was two. After a Caspers reunion in Bay City, Michigan, in 2001, she compiled a manuscript of the Caspers family from the mid-1800s to 2001. Much of that work is on these pages.
Linda, Marsha, and Carol — the three older daughters of Carl, son of Coord and Mary Caspers — followed their mother, Mabel Peglow Caspers. Mabel collected Peglow and Caspers papers for years. After she died, the sisters kept going. In 2018 they put letters, pictures, documents, and remembrances into this family history.
